Ways and Means
The Aloha Fund was established to fund unbudgeted activities, including donations to other
organizations.

Arts and Letters
The Arts and Letters Committee plans and implements programs that stimulate interest and
educate the local community in cultural activities and events, which may include art
auctions/exhibits, theatre parties, and book signings.

Audit Committee
This committee consists of three persons appointed by the President. The committee will audit
the Chapter's financial records and the reports of the financial officers with the help of a paid
accountant.

Collegiate Advisors & Advisory Council
The Collegiate Advisors and Advisory Council shall guide the collegiate chapter in developing
and implementing an effective program in keeping with the standards of the Sorority.

Courtesy and Contact
This committee remembers financial Sorors with cards, telephone calls and gifts according to
Chapter procedure.

Elections
The Elections Committee consists of five members appointed by the President and oversees
the procedures relating to Chapter elections.

Finance Committee
Responsible for establishing the Chapter budget and supervising its administration.

Information and Communications
Promotes knowledge of the activities and accomplishments of the Chapter through the writing
of articles for publication, picture taking, and maintenance of the Chapter website.

Promotes membership, reclamation and retention within the Chapter and provides inspiration
and motivation to chapter members through music and activities during chapter meetings.

Nominating Committee
The Nominating Committee is elected during the January Chapter meeting. The committee
ensures that there is at least one eligible candidate for each office and that the nominees
reflect the diversity of the Chapter.
Program Planning and Project Development
The First Vice President chairs this committee that is charged with receiving and generating
ideas for Chapter Projects. The committee assesses proposed projects and activities for
feasibility and makes recommendations to the Chapter.

Protocol and Traditions
Ensures that the Chapter members are knowledgeable about Delta protocol and traditions.

Rules Committee
Chaired by the Parliamentarian, this committee is responsible for ensuring that Century City
Alumnae Chapter's local policies are in compliance with Grand Chapter's Constitution and
Bylaws.

Scholarship Committee
Develops and implements criteria for awarding scholarships for designated groups. The
Chapter currently supports the
Mary Murphy Scholarship for women pursuing graduate and
professional degrees and the
Sara Finney Johnson Scholarship for students pursuing a
degree in film, communications, or journalism.

Social Action Committee
This committee implements a social action agenda that includes active involvement in service
oriented events that promote advocacy and community awareness with an emphasis on social
and political issues.

Ways and Means Committee
This committee plans and supervises implementation of all activities associated with Chapter
fundraising.
