The founders of Delta Sigma Theta envisioned an organization committed to serious endeavor and academic excellence. The Century City Alumnae Chapter of Delta Sigma Theta Sorority, Inc, is committed to upholding the commitment to education in the greater Los Angeles community. As one of our major public service programs, we have established scholarships to enable qualified applicants to continue their education.
Residence in the United States of America is required. Transcript should indicate a minimum GPA of 2.75 on a 4.0 scale, or 2.06 on a 3.0 scale.
Century City Alumnae Scholarships

The Gloria Anderson Scholarship is a one-time scholarship in memory of our beloved chapter member who placed great value on the arts and public service. This scholarship will be awarded to a rising high school senior pursuing a degree in Fine Arts, Visual/Performing Arts, and/or English. The recipient will be notified of the $1,000 scholarship award by June 21, 2024.

The Lucy-Ann Cade Wilson Scholarship is a one-time scholarship established to honor our beloved chapter member and her commitment to a career of service to others. This scholarship is designed to provide financial support to African American women who are currently attending Los Angeles City College and matriculating to a four-year university majoring in the fields of counseling, education or psychology. The recipient will be notified of the $1,500 scholarship award by late June 2024.

The Mary Murphy Scholarship was established by Delta Sigma Theta Sorority, Inc. Century City Alumnae Chapter in 1985. This scholarship is designed to provide financial support to women pursuing graduate and professional degrees, especially in the fields where African American women are underrepresented. The recipient will be notified of the award by late June 2024.
