OUR CHAPTER HISTORY

The Century City Alumnae Chapter of Delta Sigma Theta, Sorority, Inc. (CCAC) was chartered by 18 dynamic women on March 22, 1981 in Los Angeles, CA. The charter members were:

For more than 40 years, CCAC has continued to strive for excellence in the delivery of programs to our service areas that include Los Angeles, Culver City and Playa Vista. Our goal is to impact and uplift the community with programs and projects in the areas of education, youth development and mentorship, economic and social justice, health disparities, civic engagement, promotion of the arts and culture and the empowerment of women and girls.

Our service area includes but is not limited to the cities of Beverly Hills, Culver City, Santa Monica, parts of Los Angeles, the neighborhoods of Marina del Rey, Playa Vista, Venice, Westwood, Palms, Mar Vista, Beverlywood, Century City, Brentwood, Westchester, Bel Air and Playa del Rey, the unincorporated Los Angeles County area of Ladera Heights. 

Today, with more than 200 members, the chapter remains in the forefront on public policy and social issues. Presidents of Century City Alumnae include:
