Books, Beats, Bubbly… and it’s ALL Black owned. Join Century City Alumnae Chapter for our second annual, award winning #WellRed wine tasting event and book drive on Saturday, June 29 at 5 pm. Upgrade your summer reads and reds by learning how to pair a perfect glass with your favorite book from a leading wine expert! Donate any paperback book from any genre to benefit the Books for Jails Project. Come be inspired and leave #WellRed!
The Books for Jails Project supports literacy and lifelong learning at LA County Jails by donating lightly used books. In partnership with Los Angeles County Sheriff’s Department, we are making it possible for people to donate their favorite reading material to support inmates’ literacy and educational goals, in addition to their overall mental health and emotional wellness.
