Dukes & Divas ~ A Taste of Black Excellence

Century City Alumnae Chapter of Delta Sigma Theta Sorority, Inc. is ecstatic to present its inaugural summer fundraising event celebrating Black Cultural Arts. Dukes & Divas: A Taste of Black Excellence will be held Saturday, June 24th at the historic Wilfandel Club House.

This event serves as a whimsical networking affair for creative Black professionals and Black Arts enthusiasts. It will highlight Black talent on the screen and behind the scenes, feature Black-owned businesses including food & beverage purveyors, and spotlight Black-owned goods & services all while raising funds for community programs and projects dedicated for the young Black youth of Los Angeles.

The event will be hosted by up-and-coming Actress Dominique Washington (BET’s First Wives Club), feature appearances from other talented artist such as, but certainly not limited to: Actress T’Keyah Crystal Keymáh (Disney’s That’s So Raven), Actor Kareem Grimes (CW All American), Director Trey Haley (BET’s The Family Business), and a special performance by Grammy Nominated Producer/Musician Jeffrey Rashad (Drake - 'Is There More'). This event will feature Black owned food & beverage purveyors like Celebrity Cake Artist Spirit Wallace, Southern Girls Desserts and other Black bakeries, caterers, restaurants that will present tastings to guests seeking their vote for "Best Bite."
