Congratulations to Soror Candice Lenoir on the release of her memoir, "Being Number One: Overcoming Obstacles and Healing Your Inner Child."
"Being Number One is a memoir covering my life from the ages of 5-19. It is a love letter to myself. Through this book, I am assuring the little girl within me that it’s OK to heal, be open, and be vulnerable. I’m affirming to her that she is beautiful she is wonderful and how important it is to take care of herself. I’m also telling her to forgive and love herself," Lenoir said.
"Through this book, I hope to reach the children who feel they have no way out. I hope to reach the ones who feel like the odds are against them. I want them to believe in themselves, dream, and push forward."
